Davis Math Mastery Program

 

The Davis Math Mastery Program provides clients with the tools to correct problems learning Basic Math Concepts.  These learning problems are often accompanied by Dyslexic or Attention Deficit Disorder, commonly known as Dyscaculia.  The Davis Math Mastery Program gets to the root cause of the problem.  Through the program the client will be provided with the tools to recognize and resolve triggers in math.  The length of the Davis Math Mastery Program varies, depending on the needs of the individual client.  The program length can vary between 5 to 8 days.

Each Davis Program begins with Orientation Counselling which provides the tools necessary to recognize and resolve confusion and disorientation.  Once Oriented the client will master concepts that are critical to understanding math, using the Davis Concept Mastery techniques.

Concepts Include:

• Change
• Consequence
• Cause/Effect
• Before/After
• Time
• Sequence
• Order vs Disorder 

Once the concepts have been mastered, the client will work through twelve activities that relate to the fundamentals of math, which include:

• Counting
• Addition
• Subtraction
• Multiplication
• Division
• Fractions
• Decimals
• Place Value

What improvements can be expected?
Participants can expect improvement in the following areas:

  • Basic Concepts: Counting, Quantities, Sequence, Whole Numbers
  • Operations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division
  • Applications: Time, Calendars, Measurement, Money, Estimation, Word Problem Comprehension
